PF long ago abandoned its emphasis on good government and now supports the Zambian population, says Garry Nkombo. Nkombo says the PF has focused on barricading itself by corrupting members of the resistance council to resign. Meanwhile, former regional commissar Paul Sensele says that the Zambian experience of extreme hardship has resulted in an increasing incidence of bribery and a bad working population.

Nkombo said in an interviewer that the Zambians have to open their windows very qui....ckly and come to grips with the fact that the PF no longer takes their predicament seriously. "Zambians must now realize very quickly that the PF long ago shifted its attention away from good government and is now focusing on patronizing them.

Simply look at the state of the country's debts, this is at alarmingly high levels," said Mazabuka MP Mkombo. The PF is now focusing on demolishing the opposition's influence on top leaders by resigning from the council, he said. Mr Akombo said that the PF had left the system of regional governments and other industries.

"Now they buy minds, they buy council members and create by-elections. You have neglected to concentrate on the development of the grassroots system of government and it is a pity that some council members have been shopping in the open doors that PF offers. But this is a symbol of the Zambian people' s experience of extreme hardship.
