The Sedona Hotel Yangon is conveniently situated and makes it easy to explore the sights and attractions of Yangon. Just a stone's throw away is the biggest Yangon Sea, Inya Lakes. Known for Aung San Suu Kyi's lakeshore residency, Inya Lakes Park is a favourite location for leisure pursuits such as boating and canoeing.
10 -minute ride takes you to Shwedagon Pagoda, the holiest Buddhist site for the Myanmar population and a magnificent sights. Yangon's most memorable feature is located near 99 meters, the Shwedagon Pagoda is coated with more than 30 tons of solid golden and the top is set with stones, jewels, topazes, and saphores.
Enter the cobblestone alleys of Yangon's most famous bazar, just 15 minutes by car, and be amazed by the selection of antiquities, artwork, jewellery, groceries and clothing. After a 25-minute ride to Yangon city center, you'll be taken to busy Chinatown with cafes, clothing stores and sidewalk caterers.
Come during the New Year' s Day to sunbathe in the celebrations or walk around the China temple.
YHT's qualified travel guide will take you into the core of ancient Yangon with tales and narratives from its colorful and complex story from its beginnings to the present time. Guided visits take place on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The two itineraries are available in the mornings ('9am) and afternoons ('16.00/3.00 in December and January).
Every trip takes about 2.5 hours. The entire revenue from the trip goes to YHT, which continues to protect Yangon's unparalleled cityscape. The route starts at the YHT offices on the lower Pansodan Road and leads through Bank Street, which is the town' s juridical area. Situated in the heart of the town, it includes the Sule Pagoda, the Town Hall, the Supreme Court and the Musmeah Yeshua Synagogue* - the only one in Myanmar.
In the mornings the trip ends at Bogyoke Mark and in the afternoons at a lively evening fair in Chinatown. The synagogue is only open in the mornings and closed on Sunday. Starting and ending at the YHT offices, this itinerary includes the best conserved housing area in the east of the city center and building and sites along the historical trade and administration center.
The building comprises the former seat of the Irrawaddy Flotilla firm, the former Sofaers Building, the General Post Office and the surroundings of the Secretariat - where General Aung San and Secretary of the Office were murdered in 1947. From April 2018 to the end of August 2018, it is not possible to make frequent hikes.

Free-of-charge walks take place twice a months during the tourist seasons with the help of a volunteer.
