Intercity bus from Chiang Mai to Yangon - Yangon (Rangoon) Forums
Hello everyone, We are going to ChiangMai in November for the Lord Krathong Fest, as we have a lot of free space here, so we plan to go to Yangon ashore. Monty suggested that you contact your Myanmar embassy for help with your visas, immigration and departure regulations, and so on.
It' one thing to take a bus, unlike to a place like Myanmar. This year I had to inform in written form when and how (flight data) I would leave and leave the state. I' m informed that since my journey was not arranged with a Myanmar agency, I couldn't pass the shoreline in Mae Sai.
This would have been helpful to everyone if you had filled out your TA file so we would know which countries you come from......... 2 - Sounded as if you had been wrongly informed.... You could have arrived in Myanmar from Mae Sai, but you would then have to take a landing into the interior from Taichileik or Kengtung....
Have you received your visas from Myanmar's Myanmar mission in Canberra, or through an agents....? I have a 70 day Type B Myanmar and I' m in BKK. Is it possible to just travel in by road and get the 70 day stay or is it transfered to a 28 day touristic permit just for me?
Thank you in advanced, Typ a is a touristic visas that allows entering within the given data, but ONLY for a 28-day sojourn. Once the visas have been granted by an embassy, you can travel by plane, road or ship. Sixty is not the duration of your visit to Myanmar.
This is the period of elapsed between the date the visas are made out in your Berlin citizenship card and the latest date on which you can arrive in Myanmar. "Visas are valid for 90 day from the date of issuance. The duration of your visit is (28) from the day of your day of your departure in Myanmar."
On arrival you are not permitted to remain 28 or 70 nights.
