The port of Yangon is subdivided into two harbours. Thilawa Myanmar International Terminal is the biggest and is mainly used for RORO vessels to carry automobiles. The port is 16 km from Yangon city centre and 16 km from Yangon Rivers cove, near the Thilawa Special Economic Zone, which has been created by a Japan-based JV.
Thilawa International Airport has 2 international kiosks and 6 shipyards: Other is Yangon's old port, which has 4 ports and 15 shipyards. The Myanmar Annawa Swan-er-shin Group (S) Co Ltd (MAS) offers all services in the field of transshipment and stowage, e.g. the loading and unloading of freighters. They are taken out of the port by truck. Contacts are not carried to the interior via waterway, as the internal harbours have neither the necessary transshipment capacities nor the necessary facilities.
The Sule Pagoda Kai is on the 16th floor. + 01222 and is monitored by the Myanma Port Authority (MPA). The port is used by MPA ferries (Yangon-Dala route), wood boats and dredgers. It' very near the harbour of Bo Aung Kyaw (BAK). There' s no warehouses, no ports.
