The Yango Hiking Route in Yengo National Park leads walkers through unspoilt wildlife, complete with rain forest, and provides excellent outlooks. The Yango Hiking Path leads along a former lumberjack's path for 6 km through the untouched and scenic wildlife of the Yengo National Park. Sometimes the route can be a bit tough and there are some cliffs, but when you tackle them you'll be well rewarded, with wonderful continuous vistas of the Yengo and Wollemi wildlife areas from the viewpoint of Mount Yengo.

On the way there you can see the precious velvety weave that blooms in this part of the globe. The protected south side of Mount Yengo also passes through a small part of the rain forest with scarlet cedar and huge prickly saplings.
