The Myanmar Zyawgyi keypad is built on the hacker's one. I' ve written this keypad in the hope that someone will find the input of the zipgyi script useful. Help us make the Myanmar Reading & Writing better for those who are in Myanmar. Previously, * It supported all chars in the zipGYi type.
For Zawgyi, please download the Zawgyi auto-completion manual. Even if no Zawgyi script is present on the machine, the keypad can still be used with applications that supports Zawgyi or similar script types such as "Email 4 MM". Assistance:
MYANMAR' s young tech
Myanmar's sad telecoms sector's capacity to evolve is based on the country's young generation, said Google's CEO, Eric Schmidt, on March 22. In front of an public mainly made up of Myanmar Information and Communication Technologies (MICT) Park residents, Mr. Schmidt said that "young men and technologies mean prosperity". Mr. Schmidt said Google is planning to introduce enhanced search and map tools and a new localization tool.
Loosening of global penalties should soon enable the Google Play Store and the Google Wallet to operate on Android mobile telephones within the state. In addition, the companys next few months will introduce google.com.mm - a browser based site that supports the mother tongue Myanmar.
However, Google will only provide the technological foundation for the evolution of telecoms; the technological innovations will come from Myanmar's young people, Mr Schmidt said. Schmidt said that further progress depended on the children's technological competence being expanded. Only 1 per cent of Myanmar's people have access to the cyberspace. It' s widely used in English and by the élite and some college kids, Mr Schmidt said.
However, Google claims that if the goverment does not try to control the telecom industry and allow privatecompetition, there will be a booming market - perhaps with President U Thein Sein's target to achieve nationwide wireless coverage of 80 PCs by 2015. "I believe something unusual is about to occur in Myanmar.
I am sure that you are now all ready for the trip of a lifetime," said Mr Schmidt. Mister Schmidt departed Yangon to see President U Thein Sien in Nay Pyi Taw. On 21 March, he came to Yangon from a trip to India, where he issued a warning against competing with new technologies and innovations after such a long spell of IT industry prosperity.
MICT Park was established in 2001 and is home to 50 local IT businesses. It was organized by the Myanmar Computer Federation.
