The MiFi is a trademark for a Wi-Fi router that functions as a Wi-Fi hot spot. One MiFi unit can be plugged into a 3G, 4G cell phone and provides up to ten units of broadband connection. MiFi router's range is restricted and only for connecting equipment in the vicinity (in the same room).
The MiFi router contains a back-up of batteries, which is useful in case of blackouts. Our research shows that only Ooredoo sells MiFi router in Myanmar. This does not stop you from purchasing a Generic and plugging in your Telenor or MPS. If you buy a MiFi from Ooredoo, be careful, there is a high probability that the unit will be SIM-locked and will only take Ooredoo SIM.
This is the equipment currently available on the market:

Hello, I am trying to rent a router for my journey at the end of April for 4 working nights? Maybe buy an MPT-SIM (12000kyat for 4GB) for your cell and use it to set up a WiFi connection for you at the airfield.
