Take the opportunity to taste Myanmar's national dish Mohingar and a touch of colonial times in one of the newest teahouses in Yangon. Note: Although Myanmar is a developing country, travel can be surprisingly expensive. Each hill is crowned by a golden example, but I stopped at one of the most dramatic. The longest trekking footbridge in the worid that crosses the flat Taungthaman Lake, it is the ideal place to mix with the friars, enjoy the ambience and enjoy the last few minutes in the magic Mandalay.
