Myanmar has a population of over 51 million: Provisional census

Myanmar's overall population is over 51 million, according to the Central Commission of Censuses' declaration on the provisional one. NEYPYITAW - About 32 per cent of Myanmar's 50 million inhabitants, or 15.8 million inhabitants, live in extreme poverty, according to the Myanmar 2015 Survey of Population Control and Housing Conditions.
