The next five-week event is from Vietnam to Myanmar and back in early 2018. Attendees are already registered and about to send their vehicles to the starting line in Vietnam, so make sure you mark the page with a checkmark to keep an overview. Every single working days, when the vessels transporting our vehicles come together in Vietnam, we will be updating them here so that you can see where in the whole wide globe they are.
And, of course, after the event we will be updating the stage every single afternoon with pictures and snapshots. Vietnam and Myanmar - 14 Sundays
Doing the first day: Welcome to Ho Chi Minh Town. Upon your arriving at Tan Son Nhat International HCM International HCM Centre International Airports, your travel leader and chauffeur will pick you up at the international HCM International HCM Centre and take you to your downtown resort. Saigon hotels. You will be picked up at your accommodation by your chauffeur and escorted to Cai Be.
Begin your trip with a stop at the swimming fair in Cai Be, where you cruise between the fruit and vegetable-filled inland waterways. You will be picked up by our chauffeur at the harbour and brought back to Saigon. Saigon hotels. 3rd day: Saigon Downtown Trek - Flight to Danang - Hoian. Take a mornings sightseeing trip to the main postal service, Notre Dame Cathedral, Reunification Palace and Ben Thanh-Mart.
In the early afternoons transfer to the aiport for a plane to Danang. Upon your arriving in Danang, your chauffeur will welcome you and take you to your Hoian resort. Hoian hotels. 4th day: Hoian City Tour. Hoian was a flourishing trading harbor for China, the Netherlands, France, Japan, Portugal and the Arabs from the sixteenth to the eighteenth century.
Today Hoian is a picturesque river city, loved by visitors for its eco-crafts, dressmaking and cafe. After a half days walk through the old quarter we visit the Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200 year old Tan Ky ancestor' s home and the Japanese bridge.
Today Hoian is one of the fifth areas in Vietnam to be declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then back to your motel. Hoian hotels. Hoian - Journey to Hue. Encounter your chauffeur in the foyer of the lodge and depart Hoian in the mornings, head to Hue over the 500 metre high Hai Van Pass with a stop at the picturesque Lang Co shore before continuing to Hue.
Today you will take a trip through Hue City with the Citadel and Prohibited Purple City, the Imperial Museum and the Dong Ba Merc. Hue Apartments. You are free to fly to Hanoi until you reach the Aiport. Upon your arrivals, your travel leader and chauffeur will meet you at the city' s hotels, where you can collect your check-in and refresh yourself.
For the remainder of the afternoon you have a short sightseeing tour: explore the old town of Hanoi on a bicycle trip, enjoying the water puppet show in the Thang Long Theatre - the singular shape of Viennese culture, which originates from the Nassreis civilisation in Southeast Asia. Hanoi Hotel. Back for breakfasts, use the sun deck to see the stunning cliffs of Bai Tu Long Bay as you head back to Halong Town.
You will be picked up at the harbour and brought back to Hanoi. Hanoi Aparthotel. Hanoi City Tour - Take a scenic plane to Yangon. Depart for Yangon in the evening. Upon your arriving at Yangon International Airports, you will be met by your chauffeur and transferred to the Yangon City downtown resort.
Yangon hotels. Rendezvous 10: Yangon - Mandalay - Sagaing - Amarapura. Our Mandalay guides and drivers will welcome you and take you on a full-time Mandalay trip. Mandalay, known as the center of Buddhism in Myanmar, is a kingdom of Stupa, Buddhist monasteries and cloisters.
See the panorama of Mandalay. Next stop is Amarapura - renowned for the Mahagandaryon monastery Amarapura is the best place to see monasticism in Mandalay. Yangon's stunning cultural and intellectual legacy makes it one of the most intriguing and authentically built capital cities of Southeast Asia.
Start your first trip to Myanmar at Shwedagon Lagoon - the most famous memorial in Yangon, dominating the skies with gold lightning, huge towers and sacred relic. Then we take an orienteering tour from the Sule Lagoda to the Chinese city, which includes the quaint inner city of Yangon and the colonial English edifice as Emmanuel Church, Inland Water Buildings.
