City of Troon is located in South Ayrshire, on the western shore of Ayrshire in Scotland, about 13 km from Ayr and 5 km northeast of Glasgow Prestwick Airport. The Troon is a harbour with cargo handling at the yachting harbour. Until January 2016 P&O was operating a saisonal crossing to Larne.
