Mr. Becker also led a technology meeting at the 2012 IJAS Conference at Harvard University, Boston, USA. Dr. Ray is a member of the International Business Studies Academia. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Tourism at the University of Burdwan in Bardhaman, India.
His doctorate in the field of Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on "Economic, Socio Cultural and Environmental Impact of Tourism: He holds a Master in tourism management from the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and has twice been certified as a lecturer by the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET).
In addition, he holds a Master's in Business Administration from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, India. He focuses his research on ecologicalism, assessment of the consequences of tourism activities and tour operator services. Has over 15 years of academical training in the field of sustainable development. Dr. Das is now associated with many different Indian colleges and renowned institutions, such as IGNOU, the Indian Institute of Tourism und Tourismeanagement ("IITTM"), Magadh University and Utkal University.
He specializes in insurances, financial market and the administration of financial services providers. Numerous research work has been carried out at numerous domestic and foreign symposia, meetings and work-shops. His particular interests include current topics such as microinsurance, coporate government and government. Currently, he is Chief Coordinator of the Industry Institute Partnership Cell (AICTE sponsored) at the Faculty of Business Studies.
