Travellers to Myanmar are not allowed to renew their touristic visa, but an overstay is a possible choice for those who cross their 28-day stay within the Union. No precise rules exist, but travellers should not go beyond them by more than two week. It is recommended that you have accurate changes at the migration office at the airfield (as they are not likely to exchange $100 notes and will not take Kyat with them).
