In addition, we offer engineering support to PTTEP, the drilling and manufacturing subsidiary of the Thailand based PTT Group, which is operating the Bongkot area.

In addition, we are marketing some of the polymer and basic chemical ingredients derived from our joints in Korea and Qatar. Success of exploration & new development in Thailand

We are pleased to announce today that three exploratory wells have been successfully completed in Thailand and a new stage in the opening of Bongkot North Field has begun. Drilling three exploratory wells, Sound Sak 7, Sound Sak 8 and Sound Son 2, on the Bongkot Gulf of Thailand off-shore license, all of which uncovered amounts of commercially available gases and condes.

The two of these findings, Ton Sak 7 and Ton Sak 8, were approved for use. Greater Bongkot North currently generates approximately 600 million cu ft per diem of natural propellant and 20,000 barrel of condensate per diem from 20 well drilling rigs and a main facility. There are two other borehole head rigs under construction and are scheduled to go into operation in 2009.

A further 3 borehole head rigs will be added to the re-approved stage, taking the total number to 25. In 2010, this new stage of product design will go into operation and prolong the platform well into the next ten years. His third finding, Ton Son 2, will be incorporated into a further stage of research.

The Bongkot has been produced and run by PTT Exploration and Productions Plc since 1993. In 2007, the Group's interest in Bongkot natural-gas and condensate fields (33.33%) was 41,000 bpd of crude isotopes.

It also operates in the electricity and CHP sector in Thailand and holds a 28% stake in Easter Powers and Electric Company Ltd (EPEC), which has operated the 350 MW Bang Bo gas-fired CHP station since 2003. With 252,000 bpd of crude per barrel, Asia Pacific represented 11% of the Group's total output in 2007.

It has been operating the Mahakam unit with its associate Inpex since 1970 and is one of the world' s largest manufacturers of LNG.
