By 2050 Myanmar will have 65 million inhabitants: poll
Myanmar's total population will be about 65 million by 2050, according to a poll by the Population Department of the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population. Surveys are on the basis of the 2014 population and budget figures. Estimates predict the population at state, municipal and countryside level from 2015 to 2050 and at regional and government level from 2015 to 2031.
