Amarapura, the "city of immortality", was for a short time one of the former capital of Myanmar. Indein is the home of many Pa-Oh and lies on the shore of Lake Inle. Drive up the scenic Inn Thein Channel (not available in summer) to see the Indein market and canals. Make sure you make it to the most popular place in Indein, the Shwe Indein.
