Three Cities Malta - Houses with character

Among the many delightful cities and small communities that populate this small isle are the three cities of Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua. There are many who have begun to recognise the wealth of our inheritance in these cities, which is why Bormla, Isla and Birgu, the indigenous and foreigners' favourites for these cities have grown in recent years.

It is hard for local growing couples to part with their belongings within these historic ramparts, even if they try to move to another part of the isle. The Three Cities are very attractive for those who are looking for a second home in the Mediterranean, as they are in a peaceful location, with the port on their front door and only a brief cruise away from the city of Valletta.

The young couple who are looking for a house or a beautiful view over Valletta and the Grand Harbour have begun to explore the cities and drive forward the city. Governments have invested strongly in the Three Cities and projected further regional real estate investments will increase the value of the properties at a pace that will be stronger than in the remainder of the Isle.

These three cities are full of activities and the possibilities for investments are infinite. In the last year' s government budgets, the government recognised the cities' potentials and therefore created an impetus to cut the number of empty properties. Cancellation tax has been lowered from 5 percent to 2.5 percent on land transfer within an Urban Conservation Area (UCA).

Furthermore, the flat fee applicable to the transfer of restorations within a UCA will be lowered from 8 percent to 5 percent. It will stimulate further developments in Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua and gradually bring them back to their former splendour.

We believe in the potentials of the three cities. Soon we will open a new branch of our company in Cospicua to help you find the right object within the historic wall of the three cities.
