Hello everyone, we plan to take the night coach from Inle Lake to Yangon in the next few nights. We took the JJ Express from Bagan to Inle Lake and unlike the new busses with the TV monitors etc. in their booklets it was an older, filthy coach with a number of fractured parts like footrests and cassettes.

While this was no issue for the short day tour, we would like to use the latest best available coach for the longer night ride. The majority of Myanmar's coaches are similar. Thank you Dave.....we have JJ posted and will be updating once in Yangon. When I' m waiting and get my GH to buy this coach fare from Inle Lake to Yangon for me, it's any less expensive? right now, for a January depart date, its $19 + 4 service charge.

Have you wondered what they experienced with the Inle Lake to Yangon overnight coach?

By bus from Yangon to Kalaw and Inle Lake |

Notice: This is a tourist information item. On arriving in Yangon city centre, you will see many tourist agents booking these coaches. One good example is 31 stere where I got mine. Between Bogyoke and Anawratha Roads there were at least 3 tourist offices. In fact, there are tourist offices on every other side highway.

In addition, each of the hotels has connections to at least one agency that can book you. It didn't feel like some tourist agency was trying to rob us. Because of the busses. All of the non-VIP busses are around 15,000 euros. Some businesses have coaches. Thit Sar Oo Corporation, which was the lowest-priced at 17.3k for a 2-1 configure, I ended up taking.

However, their busses are older and not Scania. The busses of all the firms gathered at the HFC for supper.

Yangon at 5 pm, dropping passenger at 3 pm. Whenever you get to Kalaw, cabbies wait to take you somewhere. It might just be like the coach is dropping you off in the heart of nowhere, but it's actually the highway of Kalaw!

If you have informed them in advance, all busses to the Inle Sea will stop in Kalaw, where they will be there. In Kalaw they get out for the fantastic 2 or 3 days walk to Inle. I' ve heard that you can also do it from Inle to Kalaw, but that's more difficult, because you go mostly upward.

Most of the way to Inle is down.
