Thailand Holidays where to goHolidays in Thailand, where to go
How can I spend 2 weeks in Thailand? Bangkok, Chiangmai and a sandy spot on both coasts (west and east) are recommended for a 2-weeks-stay. Its most picturesque coastline is the west coastline with the Phuket Islands and its many beautiful sandy areas, Koh Phi Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, Krabi and Phang Nga.
There are flights from either Chiangmai or Bankgkok to Phuket or Krabi Airports. When it comes to Mangkok, two is not enough. From a 12-14 outing I would suggest at least 4 nights in Bnagkok to visit the places of interest of the town and to make daily excursions to places of interest like Ayutheya, several favourite places of excursions and the Kachaniburi area.
If so, take a flight to Chiangmai in the north and spend 3-4 nights. Afterwards you can take a non-stop flight to Phuket if you wish, and at the end of the day you can spend 4 hrs. or so on a sandy shore to visit the spectacular Andaman Sea isles, snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, canoeing and jet boat day trips to the nearest isles.
Possibly a whole full working days to Bangkok for your last shop etc. before you return home. One more page for information about all travel destination in Thailand is: She has other pages for Chiangmai, etc.. Use one of the following options for accommodation in Bangkok and other towns. It is recommended to remain close to a BTS Sky train or MRT underground stop in Bangkok in order to reach Bangkok comfortably.
