Temp @ Inle Lake - Myanmar Message Board
I' m going to visit Inle Lake in mid-October and want to know the temperature there so I know what clothing I should have. How is the temperature from the end of December to the beginning of January? Was it raining? During my visit during this time I had no rains and it was usually hot and sunshiny during the days, but cool at nights and early-morning.
I' m gonna need some hot clothing in my bag. I was in the city last year, not at the water. Outside on the barge we were well, one afternoons it rained a little, but we were in the doorways and it went away after maybe an hours.
A jump override and a watertight one probably wouldn't give you all you need. I' ve just got back from Inle Lake and made the 630 o'clock in the morning. You' ll only need a lightweight raincoat for a while.

"Although we have seen about five burials a night in recent month, the incineration rates have risen to almost 20 corpses a night at the end of April due to the temperature increase to Thingyan," said U Myint Wai, director of the Aye Yeit Cemeter Crematory.
"Number of corpses increased to 30 to 40 per diem per days in the 4th weeks of the current calendar period, up from about 10 per days in the past months," said U Kyaw Ngwe of the South Inn and North Inn Amarapura community, Amarapura. The Aye Yeit No Graveyard in Kyar Ni Kan Dorf provides funeral services for Aung Myay Thar San and Chan Aye Thar San settlements, while the South Inn and North Inn Graveyards are in charge of Mahar Aung Myay, Chan Mya Tharsi, Pyigyitagun and Amarapura Cownships.
Free-of-charge undertakers in Mandalay acknowledged that most worship in April was for those who had died because of the extremes of heath. "We' ve been arranging about 10 burials a days, out of three or four a days in the past few months," said U Kyaw Shein of the Chan Mya Thukha charity in the Chan Mya Thar Si Town Ship.
The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology reported that the highest daytime temperature in the last weeks of April was around 42 degrees Centigrade.
