This fact must be taken into account when planning our annual pass. It is not possible to write the same pound on an accurate date at 3 p.m.; that is not how things work in the outdoors. However, as we like to buy all our coffees directly, we always try to think six month in advance.
Colombia has an unbelievable flying season which is the mini-harvest that takes place at the opposite season of the year. On the other hand, the principal Colombian vintage - which we are currently partying - extends over several month. Put it all together and you will see why we are so appreciative of Colombia el Tablón.
It' like the customer you can rely on when you get to the event on schedule, well clothed and with a present for the event owner.... whether New Year's or Valentine's Day.

Coldombia el Tablón | Single Origin | Four-barrel coffee
These coffees are freshly toasted. Four Barrel is expected to fry and dispatch this type of coffees in 1-2 workdays. Colombia el Tablón has been meticulously toasted for you by Four Barrel toffee. The fully rinsed Nariño in Colombia was grown by three dozens of smallholders at altitudes between 1,800 and 2,200 metres.
It is a succulent liquor with caramelised sweetness and a lively fruity and citric acid. Astonishingly light for a Colombian; Four Barrel does not let down again! It' one of the best cones of coffees I ever had. Really like this cafe. Perhaps some dark sugars and chocolates as it cool.
But the caramelised taste of sugars seems to overwhelm the acid. Usually I am accustomed to a chocolatier/nuttier type coffe when it comes to Latin America cafes, however this has some very vibrating fruity aromas that come through. I catch oranges and other lemons with a sweet, long aftertaste!
Fruits and custard overwhelm the candy. It comes from below, under light lemon fruits and has the taste of a cakes.
