Budge Guest House in Taunggyi

I am in Taunggyi, I like it very much, but I can't find a beautiful accommodation. I' m at the Saung Cherry Hotel so far, which is $15. Anyone know a guest house that will accept aliens on budgets in Taunggyi? Seems the Muse Hotel is gone now.

Don't tell me to stick around in Naungsan or anything, I like it here and I want to stick around. Can' you look around Taungyi? Yes, both, I dragged myself around for an hour and was refused because almost all of my properties do not allow aliens or costs more than $20 (well over my budget).

I' ve been looking around the local population and other properties in vain for places mentioned in the LP guides, so I've tried the thorn tree. It is often the case that is not always available in some cities in Burma....Ive hit a whole bunch of folks who thought it was like Thailand ,Laos etc. and had to adapt their budgets...or even cut their stay...More fortune next city maybe.....

Off the beaten track, the price tends to be higher and the rooms are inferior. I think it will be difficult to find rooms under $7, the best rooms I had were in Bagan and then in Inle.
