Sadan CaveCave of Sadan
A thousand of bat are clinging to the cave top and contribute to the general ambience. The miracles only get worse as you cross the cave: the outbreak of the sunlight unveils an enigmatic, mysterious sea of canards and blooming flowers of flowers hiding in a cup of rugged crags. On the other side of the lagoon there is another cave that is actually half submerged, but the native fishermen sometimes canoe to another lagoon for 10 mins.
The Saddan Cave can only be partly crossed during the wet seasons. It is 17 leagues from Hpa-an along the highway to Adu. In order to get here, take a pick-up to Eindhoven; from the town take a motorcycle taxicab (K2000) for the other 2 mile to the cave.
Don't miss Sadan Cave! - View review of Sadan Cave, Hpa An, Myanmar
If you' re in Hpa, you shouldn't miss the Sadan Cave. It' the largest of the caverns in the area and the fifth longest in Myanmar - and it's astonishing. Go all the way through the cave (800 metres), see the wonderful sea and return under the calcareous rock. It is the largest cave in Hpa An and full of miracles of nature.
The cave was not the only thing that was astonishing and huge....the bike and the stroll after which we had a great time. Larger cave with possible boating through a part of the cave to the paddy paddies surrounding the rock. Wonder of nature. Were you in the Sadan Cave?
sadan cave - review of Sadan cave, Hpa An, Myanmar
It will take me about 15 min. to reach the end. From June to the end of September the ground in the cave is moist due to the falling waters from above. However, the cruise around the cave is tranquil and pleasant. The rating is the personal judgment of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
When in Myanmar you have to drive to Hpa-An and see the sand cave. The rating is the personal judgment of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. This cave is fantastic. It is more than a cave with Buddhas in it. There is a small pond at the end of the cave where you can take a boating trip and return to the entry along the rice paddies.
Boots are not permitted in the cave, so we recommend that you take your boots in a pocket so that you can carry them again at the end of the cave. Or, you'll have to run back to the front door barefoot to get your boots. The rating is the personal judgment of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
We' re experienced in a rice paddock castle, a small sea, rocks and we can also take a boating trip.... When we came through the cave about 25 min. like an adventurer, we saw an unexpected sea, a mazing! It' really a very nice sea. The price is 6 US$ per vessel and a max. of 6 persons.
Will you please take the flashlight to the cave? The rating is the personal judgment of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. Rocks have leaking waters and the cave was quite obscure with faint highlights. When we walked, we had to keep our hand, because it was slick.
When you go outside, you will see a very nice and fresh look. The price is only 2000 K yat per passenger and the vessel can hold 5 people. There was a quiet, verdant, tranquil and enjoyable look along the way and rely on me! Stroll through the city and try your hand at some of the city' s most popular dining places (mostly Thailand food) along the way.
