D. In more than 30 years Burman has written for 331 movies. He made his freelance musical director d├ębut in 1960 for the Hindi movie Chote Nawab. Burman's first chart was for the movie Teesri Manzil (1966), followed by Aradhana (1969), Kati Patang (1970), Amar Prem, Caravan, Buddha Mil Gaya, Hum Kisise Kam Nahi (1977) and Ijaazat (1986).

This is one of the long lists of Superhits for which the star Burman Ji wrote the soundtrack. Mostly he worked with Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar. Burman, better known as R.D. Burman, was a renowned Bollywood musical genre leader from the 1960s to the early 1990s.
