Oo Lwin Pyin full of people to the flower festival
Known as the Flower Town and in the municipality of Pyin Oo Lwin in the Mandalay region, Pyin Oo Lwin is often flooded by people from all over Myanmar. "We came in a group from the Bago region," said one of the visitors. First we went to the flower festival and now we will be visiting all the important places of the city. Going home we go to the Maha Muni Buddha picture in the Mandalay region," said one of the visitors. Mandalay to Pyin Oo Lwin Road is 42 mile.

Phyyin Oo Lwin is preparing for the flower festival
On December 15th, the tenth flower festival will take place in the Kandawgyi National Park, Pyin Oo Lwin, with 37 different plant varieties and about 150,000 blooming trees and shrubs, followed by the eleventh Flower Festival. The festival organizers say it will show more genuine cathedrals by decreasing the use of fake cathedrals.
Approximately 200,000 visitors attend the festival and the admission prices are around 1,000 Ks per each. "Approximately 30 percent of the flower was destroyed by strong rains. The festival has been postponed because of the problems with the cultivation," says the spokeswoman. Types from Thailand and China have reached the festival grounds with around 85,000 specimens and 60,000 in other parts of the reserve.
The flower show forms a tart for the 10-year centenary. On December 25 and 26, the festival will feature performers Sai Sai Sai Kham Leng, J-Me, Snare, Bunny Phyo, Nine One, Sandy Myint Lwin, Ni Ni Khin Zaw, R Zarni, Big Bag, Wanted, Idiots and Rockers Zaw Win Htut and the Emperor Band.
