On January 4, 1948, Burma became an autonomous and autonomous state. It has been under strategic rule since the 1962 military coup d'état and its people are subject to a series of systematically violating humanitarian law, which includes acts of gender equality, systemic violence, the use of children, enslavement, trafficking and the absence of free will.
Burma's best-known defender of fundamental freedoms, Aung San Suu Kyi, was placed under almost 15 of the 21 years under home detention from July 20, 1989 until her last liberation on November 13, 2010. Since 1997, Myanmar has been a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Barack Obama was the first US Presidential Visitor to Burma on 19 November 2012.
It is still known under three different name. Myanmar is used in English by the authorities of many nations, as well as the United Kingdom and Canada. Myanmar is used by the United States and Burma, while the United Nations, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, Russia, Germany, Norway, China, India, Australia and Japan use Myanmar.
Myanmar is generally known as Burma in the likes of Spain, Italy and Romania. Burma is situated in Southeast Asia, bordering China, Thailand, India, Laos and Bangladesh and is the biggest nation in the entire planet with an area of 676,578 sqkm. Burma is also the biggest in Southeast Asia.
Myanmar is split into 14 administration states and areas, with 63 counties. Since much of the land lies between the Tropic of Cancer and the Equator, the climatic conditions vary according to altitude and consist of sub-tropical moderate climates, moderate, cool, mountain and arctic climates. Burma is home to 55,167,330 Burmese citizens, the most populated nation in the entire planet, according to an estimation by the CIA in July 2014 Factbook.
The population is a general estimate, as the last formal survey was conducted in 1983, when a population of 33,234,000 was recorded. Approximately 211 persons per sq. m. is one of the lowliest densities in Southeast Asia from 2015. More than 600,000 Burmese immigrant labourers are recorded in Thailand, and another million work Illegal.

However a 2009 US State Department appraisal says Rangoon is home to 5. 5 million a year. It has an approximate urban densities of 19,000 inhabitants per sq. km (7,300 inhabitants per sq. km).
Yangon became the Burmese capitol on January 4, 1948, when the nation gained back its sovereignty over the British Empire, but ceased to exist in November 2005, when the Burmese army regime appointed Naypyidaw as its new administration-capitol. Myanmar's second biggest town is Mandalay with 1.2 million people, while the capitol Naypyidaw is the most populated town with 925,000 people.
Apart from Mawlamyaing, where 451,000 population live, the other towns have less than 250,000 population. Naypyidaw, the capitol, has an area of 2,723 sq. m. and a concentration of 340 mph. Independently, it is estimated that the Islamic population accounts for between 6 and 10 per cent of Myanmar's population. Though Myanmar is full of gems, petroleum, natural and other minerals, it is one of the world' s impoverished countries due to its decade-long standstill and insulation. There is not enough energy and only 25 per cent of the population has it.
In 2012, this figure was 93 billion dollars, while per head GNP (PPP) was put at 1,400 dollars. Its main export markets are Thailand, India and China, where it supplies raw materials such as oil, petroleum, natural gases, timberstuffs, legumes, coffee, beans, seafood, rices, clothing, jades and precious stones.
