Originally known as Raqmu, Petra is a historical and archaeological city in southern Jordan. Time is the most important thing when planning a visit to Petra. The Wonder of the World, Petra is Jordan's most precious treasure and greatest tourist attraction. The ancient city of Petra lies deep in the deserts of Jordan. The mythical "rose-red city, half as old as time", Petra is a well-known old Nabataean city in southern Jordan.
