Park Hotel Myanmar
Hotel Park Myanmaroverlooking New Park Hotel, Bagan, Myanmar
In July we will stay in the New Park Hotel for 6 days in a double room with private bath (room no. 103) during our 28-day journey in Burma. There were 3 types of accommodation: rooms without balconies (double room about $ 10-12), rooms with balconies (double room about $ 16) and rooms with balconies in the tranquil area ($ 25).
The last one we chose, although another room was beautiful. The rate is 1-2 Dollar higher than in New Heaven next road, but the rooms are much better (we stayed one and a half nights in New Heaven and moved to another hotel). At $25 we got a really calm chalet with a small desk and 2 seats, a big, beautifully furnished room and a big bath room with tub (but we didn't get any warm running cold so it was just a good thing for us).
The room had air conditioning (the quiet!), ventilator, 2 single bed, 2 seats and a desk, TV, refrigerator. The breakfast was also nice: coffee/tea, 2 toast, eggs at will, bananas, watermelon/melon. The hotel is on the side road, so all the rooms are well. When we needed colds with gout yeast, asked what we should give a native, how much we should afford for a horse-drawn carriage, how we should handle a giant roach, etc., they were very helpful.
There is a lovely restaurant in front of the hotel where you can buy refreshing juice - a cute town. Incidentally, the cooler is not free!
Chilling in Bagan thanks to New Park Hotel - Review of New Park Hotel, Bagan, Myanmar
In the first weeks of January I spent 4 days in the New Park Hotel, it turned out to be a very good one. It is a good position not far from all of our restaurant and a very calm street down. Aside from having to hire pushbikes and electrical bicycles and all the information you need for traveling in this part of Burma, good rooms at a reasonable rate, kind folks too.
