Capt. Marvel Filming ends as Brie Larson shares photo
Captain Marvel is finished shooting. Anyway, the main photograph. Celebrity Brie Larson took part in Twitter to show a photo of the last shale for the coming Marvel Studios feature, along with a count down schedule that shows that the main photograph was packaged on Friday, July 6. Commemorating the official launch of Marvel on March 26, Captain Marvel was in full swing for just over three month, although, as with any Marvel Studios feature, more recordings will be made later this year after the makers have taken a look at the material they have compiled during the series.
Marvel will be the first Marvel Studios movie to focus on a woman super hero, following Ant-Man and the Wasp, which marks Marvel's first woman co-lead with Evangeline Lilly as the title wasp. Capt. Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a woman flightwoman in the midst of a gallactic battle between two extraterrestrial species, the Kree and the Skrulls.
This movie is set in the 90's and will be Marvel's first real precursor, although Ant-Man and the wasp can also be regarded as technical precursors. Larson is playing Danvers and Samuel L. Jackson and Clark Gregg are in the troupe as S.H.I.E.L.D. members Nick Fury and Phil Coulson, respectively, and we recently found out that the movie will use state-of-the-art de-ageing to make Jackson and Gregg look younger.
It also shows some other repressive elements in the shape of Lee Pace than Ronan and Djimon Hounsou as Korath, a few Kree we first encountered in Guardians of the Galaxy. Watch the wrapped photo below on Larson's Twitter and search for the first Captain Marvel movie to be released later this year before the theatrical launch on March 8, 2019.
