Yangon, the trading capitol, is the major gate to Myanmar. Immergrün and chilly with luxuriant exotic plants, shaded gardens and lovely ponds, Yangon has deserved the name "The Garden City of the East". The Yangon was established by King Alaungpaya on the site of a small village named Dagon when he captured Sub-Myanmar in 1755.
Myanmar's most important travel stop is Bagan, the capitol of the first Myanmar Empire; one of the wealthiest archeological places in Southeast Asia. Bagan's magic has been inspiring Myanmar's people for almost 1000 years. The Ngapali Beach is one of the most beautiful places in Myanmar. Myanmar's second biggest town, Mandalay was founded in 1857.
Situated on the eastern shore of the Ayeyarwaddy River and in the higher part of Myanmar. The Mandalay area is rich in Myanmar's old kingdoms and wonderful places to be visited. Much unfamiliar to the West, Rakhine was at the centre of the interchange of culture and religion between India and Southeast Asia.
Myanmar has been an autonomous state for over a thousand years and its wealthy past has only gradually gained the recognition it merits. The Ngwe Saung Resort, opened in 2000, is one of the most beautiful and enjoyable seaside resort in Myanmar.
Ngwe Saung is situated in the Ayeyarwady Division, about 48 km from the city of Pathein, with a promenade on the Bay of Bengal with its clear water, its clear water, its whitewaves, its sandy shores and its unspoilt and environmentally friendly nature.
The city of Naypyitaw is the administration capitol of the Union of Myanmar. It is centrally situated 391 km from Yangon and 302 km from Mandalay and easy to reach from all parts of the Union.
