Burma Tourist Visa for Japanese Citizens
Japan nationals need a Myanmar entry permit. The exemptions or visa-free entry does not cover Japan. Up to 28 nights are allowed on a single entry form. The majority of European Union Member States grant entry and exit visa through embassy, entry point visits or online forms (e-visa). Costs, handling times, conditions and type of student ID card are different.
It' possible to remain longer than 28 nights without ever having to leave the land. This can be done by requesting a prolongation of your visas or by obtaining a visas that allows a residence of more than 28 day. They can be up to 28 nights for each session and no distance between each.
You will need to obtain a new one if you intend to leave and re-enter the Philippines several time. Burma does not grant dual or multiple-entry travel permits. You are advised not to extend your stay at any price. However, if you cannot prevent an overdraft stay, you will most likely be subject to a fine that will cost you more than a prolongation of your stay, a circulation or a new one.
Japan nationals travelling in Myanmar should discuss with their carriers the possibilities of a temporary entry permit, the permitted travel times and the policy of airlifts. When you fly with a low-cost carrier without a permit, you will need a touristic permit to enter the country.
What is the procedure for obtaining a Myanmar visas?
