Burma has benefited from strong growth in tourist arrivals with an average annual growth rate. ("CAGR") of 34% from 2010 to 2015. On my last journey to Myingun I went to visit old cavern churches that look like those in Bagan, and especially the cavern where Shin Izza Gawna is said to have wrought a philosopher's rock, and the monastery of 100 columns.
