Myanmar's Office of the President of the Republic of Burma (Burma: ???????????????????????????????? ?????????????????) is a ministerial institution serving the President of Myanmar. Aung San Suu Kyi heads the office. Pursuant to ยง 65 of the Constitution (2008), the President and the Vice-Presidents confirm as follows Pursuant to Article 210 of the Constitution (2008), the President has the right to make an occasional speech or dispatch a dispatch to the meeting of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw or Amyotha Hluttaw or to the whole state of the Union's policy and general state.

Article 447 of the Constitution (2008) provides that current legislation, ordinances, statutes, communications, orders, guidelines and practices shall continue in force, provided that they do not infringe this Constitution until they are revoked or modified by the Government of the Union. Many of the Burma codes are still in use. The laws of the Revolutionary Council were in Burmese after 1962. The Pyithu Hluttaw laws were also in Burmese after 1974. Pursuant to Article 209 of the Constitution (2008), the President may: (a) conclude, ratify or cancel or withdraw from such agreements a) conclude, ratify or cancel agreements that are subject to the consent of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw; (b) conclude, ratify or cancel agreements of an interna-tional, interna-tional, regional tripartite or bi-lateral nature that are not subject to the consent of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw.
