"Myanmar Boy's of Myanmar" provides an insight into the experience of Myanmar's youth, which has been divided not only across different ages but also across socio-economic and ethnic divides. With these photos I would like to present the everyday lives of ten young people in the countryside of Myanmar - a land of fast growth, unrest and an increasingly important place on the international scene.
Raised in a small city in the Midwest of the United States, my neighbourhood was my realm - and for these young people their home is in a peasant country community their one. Hopefully I can give an insight into her life to show that despite all the things we may not have in common - culturally, economically, politically - that we all have the same feeling of agitation, adventures and inquisitiveness that makes it so nice to be a kid.
