Do you plan to get remarried in Myanmar? To be a citizen of the Netherlands and get remarried or become a partner, you must meet the following requirements: When you are under 18 years of age and get remarried abroad, your marriage will not be recognized in the Netherlands until you are both 18 years of age.

Both you and your affiliate may not already be or have a relationship with another person. You may not get remarried or become a spouse of any of the following members of your family: your parent and your child, grandparent and grandchild, or sibling. Do you plan to get remarried abroad or to form a civil union?

In order to find out, you should contact the overseas authorities in charge of marriage and alliances. They cannot get married in a Netherlands consulate or in a Netherlands Embassy abroad. Your marriage or your partner can tell you which documentation you need. They may contain a copy of your maternity record and a statement of your personal state.

It is possible to have your marriage document or partner document entered in the Netherlands Registry. Please consult the Aliens Department of The Hague. To have your marriage or marriage licence from another country entered in the Netherlands, you will probably have to have your residence permit first.

It can be done by the government in the state where you were born. It is possible that the Netherlands Embassy or consular office in the Netherlands may also need to legalize the marriage license or the registration of the partner.

Myanmar's marriage across national boundaries

On June 29, THE BrIDE, Mrs. Shilpa Pradhan, 23, and the bridegroom, Mr. Mandeol Pradhan, 24, shared their solemn prayers at the Shree Ambika Vijay Temple in Mandalay.

There was a domestic motive for their Hindu marriage, the bridegroom said. "I am the oldest boy in my extended marriage and my relations wanted me to get a Hindu wedding," he said. Her marriage in the Gorkha Temple in Mandalay in the company of relatives and acquaintances was a colorful celebration that continued until noon. "Having our marriage, to share everything and to be together with our loved ones and our families was wonderful and happy," said Mandeol Pradhan. "For us this is not about a marriage celebration. We' re just going to be together forever, but get married in Hinduism because it' s our familiar culture," he said. Marriage has changed in attitude and expectation, especially among young people.

The Shilpa Pradhan and Mandeol Pradhan are an example of how the difficulties of controlling these powers can be overcame.
