We will also discover a silken weaver village...meet the peasants whose "fields" swim on the lake...and attend a small local college. Others take us to the 5-day market and a personal tour of a country town.

We will help the elephant to swim and eat in the Green Hill Valley Elephant Camp on a beautiful, ecologically oriented outing. In order to maintain their natural environment, we will also help to grow indigenous wood. DAY 5 - MANDALAYIn Mandalay, the former imperial capitol, we will be received at Mahagandayon Monastery, where 1,000 Buddhist friars are living and studying and walking the picturesque U Bein tee-wood pedestrian cross.
