Myanmar Hotelier Association was founded under the strict oversight of the Ministry of Tourism and Accommodation with the approval of the Head of State. The aim is to systematically further the development of the hospitality sector and to eliminate the issues and obstacles that each member cannot resolve by organising the country-wide establishment of accommodation, guesthouses, motels and accommodation.

A graduate of George Washington University, United States of America, he holds a Master's degree in Tourist Administration. In August 2012 he joined the Ministry of the Republic of Myanmar as Minister of Hotels and tourism. Mr. Hawk has more than 23 years of Myanmar's tourist industry expertise.
During his entire working life he has been Director of the Department of Tourist Regulation, Director General of Myanmar Travels and Tours, Director General of Myanmar Hotels and Tourist Services, Director General of the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism and Deputy Minister of Hotels and Tourism. Ms. Mya Thuza holds a BEcom degree from the Institute of Economic, Yangon.
It has experience in drafting national economic planning plans and examines not only FDI schemes but also investments by people over 35 years of age. It has also participated in negotiations on bilateral agreements on the promotion and protection of investments, the Framework Agreement on the ASEAN Area of Investments and the Free Trade Agreement with ASEAN and its dialogue partners on investments over a 10-year period.
She is currently an adviser to the Directorate of Investment and Business Administration of the Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development and a member of the Myanmar Investment Commission. In 1963 U Than Myint received his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the Yangon Institute of Technology and in 1974 his Master of Applied Science from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
Mr. U Than Myint is a pensioned deputy chief engineer of Myanmar Railways and former president of the Myanmar Engineering Society. Mr. Brian is Chairman of the Committee for Quality Control of High-Rise Building Projects (CQHP) and Chairman of the Myanmar Board of Engineers (MBE). Myanmar National Building Code (MNBC) Development Project is headed by U Than Myint and the Provisional MNBC will be published in late 2012.
Cheah Swee Gim is Managing director of Kelvin Chia Yangon Ltd and a senior associate of Kelvin Chia Partnership, the Singapore based company. It has been operating in Myanmar since 1995 and has more than 25 years of international transaction work in many Southeast Asian states.
Mr Pun was trained in the UK and graduated with a bachelor's in economics from the London School of Economics in 2003. Cyrus Pun joined the SPA Group - a subsidiary of the Group - in 2007 he worked for Hutchison Port Holdings in the Hong Kong-based South China Commercial Division.
Cyrus Pun joins the SPA Group in February 2007 and took a leadership position in the Grand Central in Dalian, China - a property venture of SPA Grand Central (Dalian) Enterprise Co. On June 11, 2010 he was named Head of Corporate Strategy and Deputy Managing director of Mr. Serge Pun.
Since then, after his nomination as Head of Head of Development, he has led various company activities to identify and develop new potential and evaluate the Group's current operations. Cyrus Pun was named to the YSH Executive Committee on February 21, 2011 and has stepped down as Deputy Managing Direktor of Mr. Serge Pun.
Mr. Gaw has been with Pioneer Global Group since 1994 and will remain a member of the Board of Directors. Remarkable deals under his leadership in recent years have been the purchase and re-positioning of Pullman Hotel G Pattaya and Pullman Hotel G Bangkok, Thailand; AIA Tower in Macau; and Global Gateway (Hong Kong), 68 Yee Woo Street buildings, Club Lusitano buildings, Kowloon City Plaza in Hong Kong.

We are a property company focused on Greater China and Asia. Mr. Tony is the CEO of Colliers Myanmar, the first global property consultant to establish itself in the United States.
Prior to that, he was research manager at Ho Chi Minh City, owner of his own publisher in Hong Kong, worked for the Football Association of Libya and as a company coach for Siemens and Airbus Industrie in Germany. Daniel Voellm, a native of Germany, is the CEO of HVS Hong Kong and in charge of the operations of evaluation, advisory and investments for customers in Hong Kong and the entire area.
Before he headed the Hong Kong practice, Daniel Voellm was Vice President at HVS HQ in New York and conducted a variety of valuations, marketing research and due-diligence services in 22 countries and Canada. In addition to his hospitality industry expertise in Germany, Switzerland, England and the United States, he holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the Ecole Hotelière de Lausanne in Switzerland.
He has worked extensively with major hospitality, financial, development and investor institutions and has a deep insight into their needs for investments and approach to valuing the fair value of real estate investments. In addition, he provides advice on real estate and concepts as well as strategies. He is the Hongkong-based Young Leader Group treasury of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
Myanmar hotels: Mr. Suki is Chief Executive Officer of Myanmar International Hotel Group, where he is in charge of the hotel operations of the company's three Myanmar properties and the hotel and property project developments in Myanmar. Suki has served as GHM's Chief Operating Officer and has served in several executive roles at Intercontinental, Marriott, Scandic Hotel, New World, Renaissance and Dusit International.
In addition to his main responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer of Myanmar Hotels Internacional, Suki is also in charge of the management of the relationships between a governing body and an off-shore corporation that are equals in Myanmar Hotels Internacional (MHI). The MHI was the first Myanmar-based joint venture to be established in 1990.
Mr. Suki is a graduate in Economics from the University of Delhi and a graduate in Hotel Management in Vienna, Austria. Cube in April 2008, Alexis de Mecquenem, Senior Vice President and Head of Finance, came to Cube to oversee Cube' s Vietnam and other fronttier Asia asset management business. He is an expert in the management, structure and operation of various types of asset management platforms and has a profound understanding of the regional asset management market.
Mr. Alex joins Cube Capital in early 2008 and was appointed Director in 2010. Before coming to Cube, he worked for the Savills Vietnam Hanoi based investing and advisory group. In 2005 Alex came to Vietnam for Calyon (Credit Agricole Group), where he worked as a relationship officer in this area.

Mr. Stevens has 22 years of Asian stock market and unquoted equity investments expertise. In the 1990' he was Director of Research and Investmentbanking at Credit Lyonnais Securities Asia in Thailand and later financed, built and ran a number of highly regarded companies with offices in Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar and other ASEAN states.
Mr. Stevens holds a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and a Master of International Management from Thunderbird and is a chartered finance expert. Mr Landy holds diplomas from Cambridge University and the College of Estate Management in the UK. Mr. Björn is a member of the International Valuation Standards Board, as well as of Colliers International Thailand and the British Chamber of Commerce in Thailand.
Mr. Langdon served in the Thai offices of Jones Lang LaSalle Hôtels, where he served as senior vice president of hospitality consulting, valuation and sale of hospitality investments and design sites throughout the Indochina area, which included Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. His focus has been on providing valuation and strategy consulting input which includes marketing research, financing opportunities, carrier choice and negotiations on hospitality contracts as well as consulting in the hospitality, resort and tourist sectors of the business.
