Applying for a Myanmar eVisa on-line 2018
Do you plan a trip to Myanmar? And, don't worry, getting your Myanmar visa in 2018 is actually really simple and comfortable. After visiting this beautiful land in February 2018, we requested a visa on-line and this is a guideline as you do it. Like in many Southeast Asian destinations, you may be asked by the airlines or migration authorities to show a flight back from Myanmar to enter the state.
In order to prevent this from happening, either buy your plane tickets or go to priceline.com and use the 24-hour "no questions asked" returns system. Practically every foreign visitor to Myanmar must obtain a visa. They are then permitted to remain in Myanmar without a visa for a certain length of time (see table).
The entry into Myanmar at Mandalay airport with an eVisa letter of authorisation was one of the most smooth migration processes we have ever undergone. However, please note that you may only use an eVisa through the following harbours (as of April 2018): Here you must distinguish between the Myanmar eVisa Authorisation Letter and the visa itself.
First is what you get after you have requested the visa on-line. The card entitles you to travel to Myanmar and is 90-day. Don't send in your application too soon. Visas (the one you get in your passport) are 28-day visas and are an entrance visa.
That means you need to make another application if you want to get out of Myanmar and come back. When you exceed your visa, you must cover a certain fee/day for your breach. If you want to spend more than 28 nights in Myanmar, we get it because it is an astonishing and stunning state.
So if you stay longer, you will have to spend $3 a day when you leave Myanmar. You will have no problems getting a new visa in the near term, even though you have overdone it. To find out more about your stay in Myanmar, check out this blogs.
