Naypyidaw, official Nay Pyi Taw (Burmese: ??????????; MLCTS:): Nepranytau; pronounced[nèpjìd??], formerly known as Kyetpyay, Pyinmana or Kyatpyay, Pyinmana), is the main town of Myanmar and home of the Myanmar state. As foreseen in the Constitution, it is managed as Naypyidaw Union Territory. 1 ] It is uncommon among Myanmar's towns because it is a fully developed town outside a state or area, similar to Canberra in Australia or Brasilia in Brazil.
Naypyidaw, the home of the Myanmar authorities, is the home of the Union Parliament, the Supreme Court, the Office of the President of Myanmar, the Presidential Palace, the formal residencies of the Myanmar Cabinet and the home of Myanmar's ministerial and army heads. It is characterized by its exceptional composition of large and very low densities.
Burma's Naypyidaw is generally known as the "king's capital","king's seat" or "kings' residence". 4 ] It was used as a traditional extension for the name of the imperial capital cities, such as Mandalay, which was named Yadanabon Naypyidaw (???????????????????). Chaungmagyi Dam is a few kilometres northern of Naypyidaw, while Ngalaik Dam is a few kilometres southern.
The town of Naypyidaw is divided into several areas. From 2013 [update] the town will still lack many of the institutions that would be expected in a capitol. Myanmar's Ministry's headquarters is located in the city's Ministry area. In each case, the United Nations has provided 2 ha of property for overseas ambassadors and the seat of United Nations operations.
Naypyidaw is the first international location to be opened. 19 ] Bangladesh and Malaysia have also autographed treaties to open ambassadorships in Naypyidaw. Regulatory authorities confirm that 11 other nations, namely Russia, China, the United States, India, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Turkey and Kuwait, have moved their consulates to Naypyidaw.
In February 2018, State Councillor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi led a gathering at the Ministry of External Relations in Naypyidaw, where she called on international authorities to move their messages to the city. At the moment Naypyidaw Myoma Market is the trading center of Naypyidaw. Further areas of interest are Thapye Chaung Market and Junction Center Naypyidaw.
The Ayelar Airport, also known as Naypyidaw International Airport, is located 16 km southeast of the town, between the Ela and Lewe municipalities. There are frequent services to Yangon and other destinations throughout the entire nation from all national carriers - Air Bagan, Air Mandalay, Myanmar National Airways, FMI Air and Yangon Airways.
Myanmar National League soccer team, Naypyidaw F.C., is headquartered at Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Naypyidaw. Naypyidaw has had a cell network cover since 2009. Headquarters of the Ministry of Information is in Naypyidaw. Naypyidaw has a number of AM and FM transmitters. Naypyidaw's most important available radio programs are Radio Myanmar (operated by MRTV), Cherry FM, Mandalay FM, FM Bagan, Padamyar FM, Pyinsawaddy FM, Shwe FM and City FM.
MRTV, MRTV-4 and Myawaddy TV are the major radio stations that broadcast Burma-speaking programs in Naypyidaw. Naypyidaw's foundation was an exceptional one. The short and long-term effects of raising funds, however, are not yet foreseeable. Naypyidaw was one of the venues for the UK TV show Top Gear during a two-part feature in Myanmar in March 2014.
