The majority of tourists come to Yangon, a relatively calm and enchanting town. An undisputed landmark here is the Shwedagon Pagoda, a breathtaking and humiliating place where we can set up a garment sacrifice service for our guests with some of the religious in the Shrine. There' s a relatively well-trodden trail for travelers who explore Myanmar - and for good reasons.

Bagan's temperate scenery is a photographers' fantasy, so make sure all your cameras are properly recharged. It is also the ideal place to view the countryside from above, with a quiet parasail. Inle Lake's quiet location is also on most visitor list, where the Labryint water ways can best be discovered by kayaking.

Yes, even Myanmar has its elitist resort, in this case Ngapali Beaches, a typical golden sanded, palm-lined one.

Ultimate tour of Myanmar

It is the ultimative Myanmar trip; ideal for those who have three week time and want to try everything. You will see everything from the high points like Bagan, Inle Lake, Yangon and Mandalay - to much more off the well-worn paths adventures, such as the Mrauk U tattoo tribal and temple (where there are few tourists), the Colonies capitol Mawlamyine and the beautiful Hpa-An Kars.

We have been to all these places (and more) ourselves - we think this is the best of Myanmar - in the depths. Once you have met your personal tour leader and chauffeur at the Mandalay International Airports, you will be taken to some of the most intriguing places of interest on the way to Mandalay. Begin with a tour of the Serpent Temple in Paleik, which has 3 phythons sleeping at Buddha's foot, before you see one of the biggest convents, the famed Mahamuni pit and the ancient capitol of Amarapura.

At sunset, go over the U-leg bridge and take a boating trip. Checking into Bagan King (superior room). You will take a ferry to the former imperial capital around Mandalay. Sail the Mingun Pagoda (and see a giant rift created by an earthquake) before taking a relaxing 3 hour river trip down to the enchanting Ava - a basic luncheon in wicker pots is onboard.

Visit your guidebook at the motel and take a personal vehicle to the town of Yandabo, known for its ceramic tiles. Along the way, you will have dinner at a nearby eatery before exploring this beautiful town, known for the Yandabo Treaty, which was signed under a river bank forest between the Brits and Myrman.

Start your days with a stroll through the town of Yandabo and experience it all. On to Pakkoku by personal vehicle (3. 5 hour drive), where you will see a small slippers manufacturer and a small street fair before taking a personal ferry to Bagan. The lunch is taken on the ship before you stop at the Kyauk Gu Ohnmin cavern which is seldom frequented by visitors.

Bagan is home to the luxury Bagan Lodge (bungalow). Afterwards we begin the tour with the ascent of Buledi or Shwesandaw Paya for a first impressing view over the area. Excursion to Gubyaukgyi Temple, renowned for its frescos and Ananda, one of the most beautiful sanctuaries - and the unfinished Dhammayangyi with its frosty philynx!

Have a picknick in tranquil and often abandoned temples before taking a horse-drawn carriage to a couch with fresh beverages. Today we have nothing for you to plan, so you can discover Bagan at your own speed - if you wish, we can provide you with a chauffeur and tour-guides.

With more than 2,000 sanctuaries, Stupa and Pagoda in this stunning village, it is magical to enjoy the tranquillity of the Bagan countryside and holy ambience on foot or by bike. You will be taken on a worthwhile woodland tour by your expert guides - with elephant, their hawks and locals.

You will be offered a tasty meal with regional specialties (often Nepalese) and help the Maout Vashi and feeding the elephant before you check into the quaint Kalaw Hill Lodge (superior room). The 3-hour cycle tour starts after a brief ride - which is mainly shallow - past sugar cane and apple orchards before you reach the town of Khaung Dine with a beautiful view of Lake Inle.

In Indein you stop at the renowned remains before taking the ferry to Pristine Lotus (floating double room). Highpoints are the colorful, revolving five-day market of the Shan and Pa O, the renowned Intha Fisher, who rows in a one-legged way, and a trip to the Phaungdaw U Pagoda and a typical Chinese cigars.

The hike takes about 1 hours to get a wonderful view over the lak. Homemade lunches are available in a traditional restaurant. For the last three outings we have not scheduled anything for you to rest, recover and think about everything you have seen from the comforts of the Yoma Cherry Hotel (rooms overlooking the top garden).

You will be taken to Sittwe this mornings where your personal chauffeur and leader will accompany you to Mrauk U, where you will find remarkable churches and trunks of female victims whose faces are covered with tattoos. Today's ride takes about five and a half hour - along a picturesque riverside street with paddy fields and many pictures.

After you reach Mrauk U, your tour leader will take you to a beautiful place where you can see a panorama of the city and find out more about its past. You will have the chance this mornings to discover the ancient monuments in this area, which are made of black stones and are very different from those in Bagan.

It is the ideal place to discover on two bikes and to have many monasteries for yourself, with an experienced tour leader about the archeological site and the general story of the Rakhine dynasties. A beautiful two-hour cruise off the well-trodden paths on the Lemro River this mornings leads you to an ethnical Chin town where you will get together and have a casual luncheon with a native Homestay.

You will be shown the Chinese tradition and civilization and you will see some of the older ladies who still have their faces getting tattoos, who will be as fascinated by you as you are by them! Back to Mrauk U by bike and road. Your personal tour leader and chauffeur will accompany you to one of the most important Buddhist places of worship in the land, the Golden Rock (Kyaiktiyo Pagoda).

This is one of the most beautiful and beautiful day of your trip; we take you off the well-trodden paths into the middle of the secluded Kayin-tribe. Kayaking through paddy fields before hiking through a wood to see some small towns where a typical Thai meal is availed.

Afterwards you will be taken to the famed Saddar den, one of the most stunning caverns in the world. Then you will spend the night in the luxury Hpa-An Lodge. You will take a personal tour of the Thanlwin (Salween) Riviera - one of Myanmar's longest riverways with stunning vistas of the riverside area.

In Pa Lin we stop for a stroll with Kayin, Shan, Mon, Bamar and PaO before we reach the former George Orwell colony of Mawlamyine. You take a stroll to the first baptistery and have a homemade meal before you check into the Cinderella Hotel (base room).

After a cosy buffet break we take you directly from Mawlamyine to Yangon. Itineraries start at 4,375 per passenger B&B per day and include all personal transfer but not non-residents.
