The majority of tourists come to Yangon, a relatively calm and enchanting town. An undisputed landmark here is the Shwedagon Pagoda, a breathtaking and humiliating place where we can set up a garment sacrifice service for our guests with some of the religious in the Shrine. There' s a relatively well-trodden trail for travelers who explore Myanmar - and for good reasons.
Bagan's temperate scenery is a photographers' fantasy, so make sure all your cameras are properly recharged. It is also the ideal place to view the countryside from above, with a quiet parasail. Inle Lake's quiet location is also on most visitor list, where the Labryint water ways can best be discovered by kayaking.
Yes, even Myanmar has its elitist resort, in this case Ngapali Beaches, a typical golden sanded, palm-lined one.
Ultimate tour of Myanmar
It is the ultimative Myanmar trip; ideal for those who have three week time and want to try everything. You will see everything from the high points like Bagan, Inle Lake, Yangon and Mandalay - to much more off the well-worn paths adventures, such as the Mrauk U tattoo tribal and temple (where there are few tourists), the Colonies capitol Mawlamyine and the beautiful Hpa-An Kars.
We have been to all these places (and more) ourselves - we think this is the best of Myanmar - in the depths. Once you have met your personal tour leader and chauffeur at the Mandalay International Airports, you will be taken to some of the most intriguing places of interest on the way to Mandalay. Begin with a tour of the Serpent Temple in Paleik, which has 3 phythons sleeping at Buddha's foot, before you see one of the biggest convents, the famed Mahamuni pit and the ancient capitol of Amarapura.
At sunset, go over the U-leg bridge and take a boating trip. Checking into Bagan King (superior room). You will take a ferry to the former imperial capital around Mandalay. Sail the Mingun Pagoda (and see a giant rift created by an earthquake) before taking a relaxing 3 hour river trip down to the enchanting Ava - a basic luncheon in wicker pots is onboard.
Visit your guidebook at the motel and take a personal vehicle to the town of Yandabo, known for its ceramic tiles. Along the way, you will have dinner at a nearby eatery before exploring this beautiful town, known for the Yandabo Treaty, which was signed under a river bank forest between the Brits and Myrman.
