Myanmar's female voice: Nilanjana Sengupta - Khin Myo Chit to Aung San Suu Kyi

Myanmar's Voice of Myanmar wants to provide a feminine view of Myanmar's past and future policy. She explores the life and work of four distinguished Myanmar woman who give up their life for the reputation of their country: Ludu Daw Amar, who as publisher of the left Ludu Daily was considered an anti-establishment and witnessed the failed attempts of the Nazi regime for ethnical conciliation; Ma Thida, whose letter testifies to the effects of the authoritarian army regime on the personal psychology; and Aung San Suu Kyi, who has reformulated Burma's nationism.

The book explores new ways of researching her writings, both previously and previously unpublished, partly in English and partly in Myanmar, while the personal biographic drawings provide an insight into the Myanmar homeland and the changing female world.
