Arrive at Yangon International Airport. After your check-in, you' ll be taken to the Sule Pagoda, Mahabandoola Parc, Grand Town Hall and the old downtown settlement and transferred to your host. After lunch, you' ll head to Bogyoke Markt, the Scott Markt, the biggest Yangon fair with plenty of free day to explore the Hundred Souvenirs, Handicrafts and Malls.
On to Shwedagon Pagoda - described by Somerset Maugham: "The Shwedagon ascended splendidly, glittering with its golden, like a suddenly appearing hopefulness in the shadowy darkness of the spirit of which the mysterious writers glitter against the mists and fumes of the blossoming city". Shedagon has become the icon of Myanmar.
Accommodation in Yangon. Mornings: Transfers to Yangon International for your flights to Bagan. When you arrive, you' ll be visiting the Nyaung U Morgenmarkt to see how they live. You will then be able to see the most important Bagan Magodas and Sanctuaries, which include the Shwezigon Pagoda, which King Anawrahta visited in the early 11th century.
On to Annada Temple: a white painted mon architectural treasure with four Buddhas and the adjoining brickwork convent with the fine, well-preserved 18th c. mural paintings. To the Thatbinnyu sanctuary, known as the "Temple of Omniscience", which dates from 1144, and the Sulamani sermon. Later in the day you will see one of Myanmar's most valuable arts and crafts, the paint industry, the Sulamani Sanctuary and the Dhammayangyi Sanctuary (the solid sanctuary in Bagan).
Explore the Pyitthagyi Temple horse-drawn carriage trail (15 min.). Accommodation in Bagan. You' re flying to Heho in the mornin'. Situated on the shores of shores of Lake Inle, Nyaung Shwe is known for its magnificent aileron. Take a trip by ferry to Inle Lakes and head to the centre of Inle Lakes, which includes the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most sacred place of worship in southern Shan State.
Accommodation in Inle. Mornings: Transfers to Heho International Heho for your flights to Yangon. Towards the hotel you will be visiting the Mahapasana Cave (if open), where the Sixth Buddhist Synod took place, the Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda). The Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda is one of the most impressive Buddha images in the whole wide area.
