The Verite La Muse 2012

Wonderfully shiny ruby rims of La Muse 2012 give way to distinctive spicy and mature, fruity flavours. It has a full flavour with the addition of flavours of almonds, spices and figs. 2012 La Muse, which is 85% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc and 4% Malbec, is a smaller blend of 1,840 cases.

The Cabernet Franc can be used to enhance plant flavours, while Malbec and Petit Verdot enhance colour and texture. Generally, bordeaux-red mixtures can have flavours and flavours of blackcurrant, zedo, prune, graphite und violets, with more reddish fruity flavours, if merlot constitutes a high percentage of the mixture.
