Department of Hotels and Tourism, Republic of Myanmar
Founded in 1992, the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism reports to the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism. It has four departments: the Department of Tourism Regulation, the Department of Tourism Promotion, the Project Department and the Department of Administration and Finance. Its principal tasks are to comply with the guidelines and guidelines set by the Ministry of Hotel and Tourism, to issue permits for tourism-related businesses, to determine the terms of the permit, to conduct trainings and seminars to enhance the standards of the hotel and tourism industries, to inspect the hotel and tourism industries and to define their roles, to promote tourism in the state and to monitor all hotel and tourism industries as well.
