Viet Nam is the most eastern of the Indochina peninsula. It is situated in the eastern part of Southeast Asia, in the southern part of Yunnan Province and Guangxi Province in China and in the eastern part of Laos and Cambodia. On an area of about 330,000 sq. km, Vietnam is situated near the Southern China Sea with a coast line of more than 3,260 km.

Cambodia, home of Angor Wat, lies in the western part to Vietnam, in the southwest to Laos, in the north to Thailand and in the northern part to the Gulf of Thailand. Cambodia is situated in the southerly part of the Indochina peninsula in southheast Asia and has an area of 181,035 sqm. Cambodia and Vietnam are situated in the southeastern part of the Indochina peninsula.

Cambodia and Vietnam share a long frontier with a large number of outcrossings. It is therefore very comfortable to fly, by coach or by ship between Vietnam and Cambodia. Flying from Phnom Penh in Cambodia to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam is the most comfortable way, as the journey between Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Ming City is only 130 nautical mile, which is about 48 min by plane.

Take the Cambodian to Cambodia coach on Hwy 22 in Vietnam, through Bavet-Mocbai (Cambodia-Vietnam) Border Gate and across the Mekong River, then Hwy 1 in Cambodia to Phnom Penh, the Cambodian capitol. Ho Chi Minh and Phnom Penh are 285 kilometres away, which is about 6 to 7 hrs by coach.

Siem Reap Airport mainly operates services to Angkor Wat, while Sihanoukville Airport only operates national flights with Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. From Cambodia to Vietnam there are regular services, mostly from Phonm Penh or Siem Reap to Honai or Ho Chi Minh. Routes between Cambodia and Bietnam.
