Mandalay to Lashio Bus

Lashio Mandalay Bus

Lashio - Hsipaw; Trains to/from Mandalay - Myanmar Forum A way to do things I'm thinking about is to go from Heho to Lashio and then take the transportation to Hsipaw. Can I get a plane that will land around 2pm or so, so how simple it is to get from Lashio to Hsipaw International Airports. I don't want to spend the nights in Lashio either!

Secondly, the issue that flows into and out of the first concerns the Mandalay to and from the first. I' m a little fan of trains, so I'd like to go from Hsipaw to Mandalay and stop in Pyin Oo Lwin by rail for a few nights. It would be better if I took the Mandalay to Pyin Oo Lwin and Hsipaw trains (if so, I would probably go back to Mandalay by bus for a day before taking the ferry to Bagan).

I try to prevent too many transits to places I have already been to. I essentially settled to spend another overnight in Yangon before leaving for Mawlamyine. If you arrive in Lashio by air, simply take a cab to the bus terminal and take a bus to Hsipaw, which will take about 2h.

Lashio is definitely a good place to stay, the area is ideal for hiking and exploration and much fewer backpacker tourists than Hsipaw (who are all there for their Lonely Planet guide)..... In any case, the platoon does not go into the darkness, it leaves on both sides (Mandalay/Lashio) in the early mornings and arrives around 7 pm, usually they gather near the Gokteik-Viaduk.....

I also liked Kyaukme more for hiking than Hsipaw, but Hsipaw is also beautiful..... From Lashio International Airports I accept that it is no obstacle to get to Hsipaw by a combined bus and cab. WHEREAS you should really think about stayin Lashio. While Hsipaw has a well-developed backpacking structure, it offers the least amount of genuine backpacking experiences of all.

Why does everyone go to Hsipaw..... Travelling by rail from Lashio, Hsipaw or Kyaukme to Pyin Oo Lwin is a beautiful and interesting journey if you enjoy trains. You should take a bus from POL to Mandalay, as the trains are very fast and the landscape is not so scenic some information about hiking and exploration tours around Lashio:

Since I' m not too interested in hiking (I'm not in the best shape, let's just say), do I waste 2 days in Hsipaw? Do you want me to spend one of my evenings in Lashio and then go to POL for a few days? But is it definitely deserving of a visit to Hsipaw?

They can also take the motorcycle (with guide) from any place (Lashio, Hsipaw, Kyaukme), I did this in Lashio with the above firm, and had a great night out in the towns possible, even nights in the towns, swimming pools, falls, villages of many different ethnic groups (wa, Lisu, Palauang, Shan, Kachin.....) really interesting, and totally off the well-trodden paths.....
