Explore the nearby markets and ride a horse-drawn carriage through the enchanting city, admiring the bright reds of tile and half-timbered buildings with their British pediments, towers and smokestacks. Following luncheon you will be taken to the small forest museum (if open) and the Kandawgyi National Botanic Gardens. Constructed in 1915 by Alex Rodgers with the help of Lady Cuffle and 4,000 Turks POWs on Lake Kandawgyi, this botanic gardens was recently restored on an area of 436 ha. Dornenbaum - Pyin Oo Lwin (Maymyo) to Mandalay
Which is the best way to get from Pyin Oo Lwin (Maymyo) to Mandalay? Is there a collective cab or privately owned cab for the itinerary? Have a look at the Pyin Oo Lwin website, but could not get these particulars. I took a collective taxicab from Pyiin oo lwin to Mandalay about 4 years ago... I think it would be less expensive than the AC coach you gave me.
I think it closed down the mound in an hours and a half! right to the Royal GH in Mandalay. To split the links, copy and paste one of the URLs below. Collective commuter cab is an optional extra. Mandalay has collective cabs all morning and your GH will be able to tell you where to go.
To split the links, copy and paste one of the URLs below. My coach is fine, should be about $4, I got the AC from Kyaukme to Mandalay for $5. About 8.30 our coach stops at Pyin U Lwin. Sharing taxis is another unsure opt, which is not about the costs, should not be more than about $10.
Should not be more than $6 like the booking, if you are arriving a great deal, divide cabs from there to Mandalay, so there should be no trouble making a trip with them or with the nearest buss. To split the links, copy and paste one of the URLs below.
Mandalay is only 2 hour away, the street is good, but a little undulating. From Hsipaw the rail is good to Pyin U Lwin, but I would take the coach or split a cab to Mandalay. From Mandalay I would take the coach, take the AC as it is fast and qualitatively better and newer, 5 hrs to Kyaukme and 6 hrs to Hsipaw (incl. catering station) cost about $6, copy and paste below to split the links.
