There are three categories of kosher food: meat, dairy products and Pareve. Cosher foods are those that comply with Kashrut's Jewish dietary laws, mainly Leviticus and Deuteronomy. There are three different types of kosher food: meats, milk and parev. Beef and poultry and their by-products such as bone, soups or sauces are classed as beef. Any food made from or containing milks is considered to be a milky product, which includes milks, butters, yoghurts and all cheeses - firm, smooth and creamy.

And even a hint of milk product can lead to a product being regarded as a milk product. To be koshercercertified, milk must fulfil the following criteria: You must be from a kosher pet. It must be manufactured, handled and packed on kosher machines. Foodstuffs that are neither meats nor milk based are known as parev.

Popular foodstuffs are balls, seafood, fruit, vegetable, cereals, raw juice, pastas, soft beverages, coffees and teas and many sweets and candy. There are less kosher complexity in comparison to meats or milk products, but certain points must be known: Foodstuffs can loose their Parareve state if they are processing on meats or dairies or if foodstuffs are used.

Some fruit, vegetable and cereals must be inspected for the existence of small non kosher bugs and cereals. Egg must be inspected for the existence of non kosher stains. A lot of non kosher organisms exist, among them most shellfish (except kosher fish), bugs, gnawers, wildlife and their derivates.

Although all components in the wines are of kosher origins, it is only kosher if the wines are produced by Torah-watching Jews only.
