Large carriers flying directly to/from Yangon - Myanmar Forum

Oi everyone, I'm looking to book a sightseeing tour to Yangon from New York city in October. Are there any proposals for carriers flying non-stop RT from an Asiatic metropolis to Yangon? In the ideal case I would take a non-stop from NYC to a big town ( "Hong Kong") and then a second one to Yangon.

This way I would only have one stopover per route. Looks like pages like kayaks, skyscanners etc. are not picking up the locallines. AirMyanmar.com seems to have an international timetable between Yangon and some larger towns (HK, Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Incheon, Guangzhou), but the data given are September 13, 2014 to October 15, 2014 (yes, 2014 not 2015).

Anyone know if this page is going to be up-dated? will show you how many great legacies carrier are flying to Yangon. Thank you SS - this could be a query for the Travelling Forums, but a possibility that you travelled to Myanmar via Taipei International Airports (TPE)? I' ve found a great NYC (JFK) > Taipei > Yangon with China Airlines, but the stopover takes only 1 hr 30 mins.

The whole voucher would be bought through the website of China Airlines, so they would consider it for a longer stay. When I miss the call, the next plane to Yangon seems to be the same..... Maybe pole on the aviation forum- there have been thread on China Airlines or PM Aviation DE living / working in SE Asia for a home carrier and Taipei knows well.

Like all old carriers, if you arrive delayed, they will accommodate you until the next morning. hs I have a 44-minute call in BKK to RGN in February, along with my baggage! and from a former threads okorgetown-jp, that's a lots of silver swimmers through Ha! Ha!

By booking on a single ticketing, the carrier will put you on the next scheduled service if you miss your call. For US$970 I could find a sightseeing trip with a longer stay from NYC > Hong Kong > Yangon. You' re on the same carrier. You can take a tour of the town or visit the attractions near the HKG International Park, according to the length of your stay.
