There is another way of reviewing the past, and it is a useful ability to cultivate. A review often relates to a lecture learnt from a mistake. In a nostalgic way, Billy Wilder, the US filmmaker, once said: "Insight is always twenty." It' much simpler to see if something happens than before.

Review is a free web artifact analysis utility. Starting with the Google Chrome web browser's web browse path, it has been enhanced to work with other chromium-based apps (more will follow!). Viewing can analyze a variety of different kinds of web artefacts, which include web addresses, web browsers, HTML5 cookie files, caches, favorites, auto fill files, stored password files, settings, web browsers enhancements, HTTP cookie files, and HTML5 cookie files.
As soon as the information is pulled from each of them, it is mapped to a time line and correlates with information from other historical records. This has a basic web interface - to launch it, run "hindsight_gui.py" (or the "hindsight_gui.exe" package on Windows) and go to http://localhost:8080 in a browser: You only need to fill in the "Profile path" box.
